Art Cooperation Transmission Democ[k]racy

University of Art and Design, Cluj-Napoca – Romania

  • teachers: Cristian Opris (engraving), Anton Razvan (drawing)
  • students: Hermina Csala, Norbert Filep

Critian Opris produced a set of drawings, picking up the typographies of French newspapers and focusing his interest on social, political and everyday-life situations, in relation with history and education. Anton Razvan continued a work of drawings, projected in animation and inspired by the architecture of large buildings, in order to apprehend the notion of collective identity. Norbert Opris worked with images from the Internet, realizing blurred portraits of Romanian male and female politicians. Hermina Csala produced a chess board made of mirror and black paper, reflecting the complexity of the collection of individual identities within the political spectrum.
